CT scan (Computed Tomography Scan) is a procedure of combining X-ray with algorithm to produce 3D cross-sectional images of the structures inside the body. In pulmonology, this technique has become very common and effective, especially in early detection of lung diseases such as lung cancer, pulmonary tuberculosis.
